What this policy covers
This policy explains how extracturl.link handles information when you use URL Extractor, read our guides, or contact us. URL Extractor is operated as an independent web tool. It is not affiliated with Google, Microsoft, or the products mentioned in our tutorials.
Content processed by the tool
Text and hyperlinks pasted into the extraction tool are processed in your browser. The extraction feature does not intentionally upload or store that pasted content on our servers. Do not paste passwords, private keys, confidential records, or other sensitive information into any online tool.
Analytics and local storage
When enabled on our production site, Google Analytics 4 loads automatically to help us understand aggregate usage. Google may process the page URL, an IP address used to derive an approximate region, device and browser information, interaction events, cookies, or similar identifiers. We do not send pasted content, extracted URLs, link text, clipboard content, or contact messages to Analytics. We do not offer an on-site Analytics consent or opt-out control. This approach may not satisfy consent requirements in every region.
Advertising and Google AdSense
We may use Google AdSense after the site is approved. Google and its advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, collect IP addresses or other identifiers, and use information from visits to this and other sites to provide, measure, or personalize advertising where permitted. You can learn how Google uses data on partner sites on Google's partner sites information page. At present, this site retains an AdSense ownership declaration and ads.txt record but does not load display-ad units.
Advertising choices
Where consent is required, non-essential storage and personalized advertising must not be enabled before a valid choice is obtained. If advertising is introduced, visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland will be shown a Google-certified consent management platform before relevant advertising technology is activated. Google advertising choices can also be managed at My Ad Center.
Contact form
Our contact page embeds a Google Form. Information you submit is sent to Google and to us for the purpose of answering your message. Please provide only the information needed for your request. Google processes form data under its own privacy terms. We retain messages only as long as reasonably needed for support, recordkeeping, or legal obligations.
Data sharing and retention
We do not sell pasted tool content. Limited information may be processed by hosting, analytics, form, and advertising providers as described above, or disclosed when required by law, to protect users, or to secure the service. Retention periods depend on the service: pasted tool content remains in the current page state and is not intentionally persisted; anonymous returning-extraction timestamps can remain in browser local or session storage until cleared; Analytics follows configured Google retention settings; and support records are removed when no longer needed.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies through your browser, clear local site data, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also contact us about a support message you previously submitted. Some requests may require identity verification or may be limited by applicable law.
Children and policy changes
This general-purpose productivity tool is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. Material updates will be shown by revising the date at the top of this page.
